Low Voltage Lighting
The 12 volt and 24 volt power for these systems are supplied by low voltage transformers. Low voltage lighting was made popular by systems like monorail, cable, track, recessed and landscape lighting. The systems use MR11, MR16, PAR36, AR70, AR111 and a variety of tubular lamps. The halogen and xenon lamps can last as long as 20,000 hours and are easily dimmed. Their compact design make them a logical choice for interior coves, cabinets, niches and bars. Outdoors they are used for lighting gardens, trees, signage, fountains, and walkways.
