Mitchell comes to JTH with 32 years in the theatrical lighting and controls business, starting his career in 1998 with a theatrical equipment dealer. Of late, Mitch's passion to inspire the interests of young adults has allowed him to work with many local theatrical companies, such as St. Paul Academy and The Guthrie Theater.

Jon goes on to state that "in an industry where intelligent lighting controls are becoming more and more prevalent, its important that we add people like Mitch to our organization so we can stay one step ahead of this rapidly growing industry".
Mitchell has a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo and an orange belt in aikido. In his free time, Mitchell enjoys cooking, barbecuing and creating signature BBQ sauces. Mitchell shares his empty nest with his lovely wife, Leah, and enjoys the frequent visits from their son, David, his new wife, Linnea, and their dog, Bell.
