wakaNINE’s mission is to share exceptional design from the corners of the globe with North America. Their name, wakaNINE, reflects and embodies this goal. Legend states that Aotearoa (New Zealand) was settled by eight founding tribes that sailed in eight “waka” (canoes) landing in different parts of the country. With their waka, the ninth, they are bringing the product from the other side of the world and connecting you to a unique design.
The product includes the David Trubridge, HUSH, Ango, TruK, and FIRE+ICE collections, which feature dynamic decorative pendants, sound dampening illumination, and handcrafted chandeliers entirely from recycled glass.
